Co-creators Mogul and Forecast Events recently said on their social media, OX marks the spot. And, so it does, when Modern Art Oxford is at the hub of this exciting new event, showcasing locally made design direct from the makers themselves, alongside print and paper workshops for all ages.

Holywell Press is proud, but also incredibly excited to be sponsoring the first Oxford Print Fair. We will be stationed at Modern Art Oxford with displays of beautiful print work and a demonstration of traditional letter pressing print working. We will also be making time for those who wish to discuss printing work that is needed, so bring your ideas and we’ll talk you through your options.

What can you do on the day?

Paper workshops for all the family involve folding, printing with a variety of methods and of course shape cutting for making all sorts of trinkets.

Print workshops are in two forms; demonstrations of a number of disciplines that will transport you back to the past and delight you with antique printing methods and machinery, right through to modern techniques, and family interactive workshops where you can try your hand at traditional methods and create souvenirs to take home, and turn into greetings cards, wrapping paper or pictures for the wall.

Tour the artwork of the talented artists taking part in the unique shopping experience. Browse the artwork for sale, choose Christmas gifts or a treat for yourselves.
